Ground Issue?

Had some problems recently but they seem intermittent. I have a scan gauge hooked up and notice my voltage dropping from 14 something down between 12-13 when the cars is running and when the voltage drops, the car starts to sputter and act weird. If i turn it off then back on, the voltage stays around 14. Doesn't happen all the time, maybe once a week or so, sometimes it happens 2-3 times a day. It feels like the power is cutting out, starts sputtering, then its regains full power again when the voltage pops back up to 14, all with accelerator petal stable in position and TPS registering correctly. I replaced the positive battery cable and this helped tremendously with getting a stable voltage reading but every now and then it drops off. I am pretty sure the voltage drop is causing the car to stutter because thats the only time i notice any stuttering. It will idle fine and as long as I don't put a heavy load on the gas, the car accelerates as well but if i push the gas pedal in, thats when i notice it most. Let me know what you guys thing. I have yet to clean any negative/ground connections. I am trying that this weekend.

Read in the electronics forum. Do the big 3 upgrade. It's cheap and even if none of those points are not your problem it certainly can't hurt. Some people even say it makes their car run better aside from giving better power output for amps and stuff
