Ok so me and my buddies are in the process of pulling out the motor on my 02 cavalier 2.2l ohv manual transmission. and we have the engine ready to pull out but when we pull it out the shaft from the transmission gets stuck on the clutch. we want to pull it out without the transmission and without taking off the axles. ive heard its been done before but i want some opinions on the easiest way to do it from this point and the easiest way to put it back in. Thanks for the help.

make sure ur pulling it straight away from the tranny not up and over just straight over otherwise it will cause the 2 to bind together and hold ur from moving it if u are doing that and its still stuck...."""PRYBAR that mofo""" should come off then ive taken the tranny outa my ram 1500 5sp manual and a lumina auto'3100' and a 85 ram 1500 auto and whenever the tranny didnt want to budge pulled out the 4 foot prybar got between the engine and tranny yanked a couple times and it came loose
