ok, finally got the annoying misfire figured out, stalling/ bucking fixed, and car is returning the best fuel economy i have ever seen from it, (last hwy trip i averaged about 33 mpg at 80mph) but when i first crank up the car for about 30 seconds you can smell gas really strong, now after its gets a little warm it goes away, and it drives fine even when smelling like that and there is no black smoke, also no codes what so ever, and since october when i last replaced the O2 sensor i have installed a larger (2.3) tb, full exhaust with new cat, new ignition except icm, new tps, and have redone all the vacum lines with new in the original configuration. now is this smell normal for when its cold, or is there an underlying issue that still needs attention? now the O2 is a bosche unit (yuck, its all they had that day) amd should still be under warrenty but if its not i will probably get a different brand? now i have a midnight madness test and tune friday and i want it running top for it so what would everyone suggest? thanks for your help and time.

The only help i can give you is that smelling gas when you start your car is never "normal" although idk what you could do to fix it...
however could you tell me what you did to fix your car from the stalling/ bucking b/c i'm having a similar problem???
i ended replacing all the vacum lines and that help alot and followed the routing in the haynes manual, also new ignition system, it didnt go away at once but little bit at a time as they were replaced. i ended up replacing the O2 sensor this morning just in case and tomorrow i will know if the smell goes away. good luck.
Unplug you O2 sensor right before you start it up the first time of the day. Let it run until warm. Than come back and tell us if the car acted up or not.
