hello, i have a 2002 z24 and my cruise control doesnt seem to be working. Im thinking its the switch. but its been intermittent for the past year but now doesnt seem to be working. every now and then when it did work and i had to on and went to put my turn signal on it would shut off, weird i know. i already checked the fuse and that is good. what else can i check before i take it to the shop. i am looking at trading it sometime towards the end of the summer and would it be worth fixing. it could be operator error but i dont think it is. ive ruled out the cheapest fix since the fuse is good, so what is the worst case and best case senerios is could be thanks

I was having problems with my CC. It ended up being the cruise control switch on the brake pedal. This is the one that disables cruise control when you apply the brake.

If you have a shop or Chilton's or Hane's manual adjust the switch according to the manual, it's really easy. I still had a problem and just ended up replacing the switch. Fixed my problem and it was just 11 dollars for the new switch from the dealer.
