Compression numbers on my 2.2

I did a compression check because my car likes to run warm here for no apparent reason lately and I came up with these:

130
110
120
142

This is on my 96 2.2 and the highest and lowest are within' 77% of one another which is within' the tolerance range according to another post I read on here, but it just seems to be too low to me. Do these numbers look bad to anyone else? I really don't want to have to take the head off if I don't have to. Thanks for any input.

your in spec, but barely. put like a teaspoon of oil in the plug hole then try the compression test again... if the number rises, it's rings. if not, its valve body.

Are you sure you are doing it right? Those numbers are low.

im pretty sure it's going to be valves as i've got a decent valve tick. i'll go back out and check with the oil here as soon as it stops snowing.
