Hey all, I am new at the painting, I need help, my wing is starting to have crows feet on it from the sun, baisicaly drying up and starting to turn all white and cracking etc. I wanted to repaint it this spring and need some advice. First of all what type(grit) sand paper should I use to sand it down to be able to prime it. Second how many prime coats should I use. and Third how many paint coats should I use to do it and should I use a wet coat/flash coat first. etc. and how many clear coats do I need to finish it off and how long should I let it sit before I put the wing back on. basic I would like somebody to step by step it for me as easy and simple as it gets.
