Hey guys,
I bottomed out going about 45 mph last night and i hit hard. I hit a damn sink hole in the pavement that was perched right over the top of a huge hill. never saw it comin. I got the car up on a lift and checked the oil pan, exhaust, ect...everything looks fine cosmetically. Is there anything else i should check for?
First time bottoming out at this speed.
if something had gone, you probably would have heard it right away, or the next time you hit a bump. I hit a one like that awhile ago, couldn't see it and wham, there was anasty sound, but everything still semms fine and there are no clunking sounds when i turn or go over speed bumps or anything. you should be ok.
you hit the cross member. you will be fine. that is why they put the cross member there.

New Picture comming this summer.
yea last year i bottomed my car out real hard and it made a nasty sound when i was going to fast in a development the the cross member and tie rod end on my front passenger side hit and something bent alittle bit . but its all good.. nothing serious
just be happy that your transmission oil pan isnt dented....thats when you know you bottomed out to hard. but anyways you would have known real quick if there where any problems
