Muffler hanger keeps falling off!!

I've got an 01 Cavalier with stock stainless exhaust system and the muffler hanger around the muffler keeps slipping off. Ive tried bending it tighter and even JBWeld.

Is there anything that will keep the muffler from flapping around? If it breaks it will be expensive.

im guessing the hanger is broken. same thing happened on my 99. just get a new one from the dealer and replace it. there only like $20.

Metal coat hanger and a pair of pliers.
