well, went to check the oil level today, unsrewed the cap w'dipstick and what did I see? part of the seal on the end of the cap go right down the dipstick tube, I was like S of a B!! how bad am I screwed? PS didnt start the car4 since then.
your fine. It will get burned up. As long as its not metal.
theres a screen on the oil pick up tube, so your fine, you might get lucky when you drain your oil and you might be able to get it out through the drain hole.
Flush it out with new oil.
When I changed my oil pan gasket, I found a piece of an old oil sensor in the bottom (from the previous owner), nothing ever happened when it was inside.
