a friend of mine is in need of a new alternator (possibly). she has a 97 2.2 ohv base model cavalier.

I have a 2002 sunfire se (with the 2200) -- I am going to be getting a high amperage alternator to help my system out a bit, and Im wondering if I can replace my alternator with a new one, and swap my old one into her car.... Im assuming its a stupid question and a direct bolt up, but i want to make sure... from my experience, car electronics are a force to be rekoned with and i dont want to mess her car up at all.
