keep replacing cat. converter, help! (urgent)

So yeah, I keep replacing my catalytic converter because it gets clogged up.

I've got an 02 2200, pacesetter 4-1, and a magnaflow cat (part number 94035)
The last one I had was replaced around thanksgiving, and I now have to order yet another, because this one is starting to get clogged and I'm having trouble getting past 5k rpm.

brother says i could be running way rich, causeing fuel to get into the cat and burn off in there, but i haven't seen a loss in my fuel economy at all. any suggestions? I'm kinda desperate here.....

Might wanna make sure it's the cat first... take out (don't just unplug) the O2 sensor and see if that helps... clogged cats usually acompany decreased gas mileage (as well as performance).
