ok guys my friend bought a fire and the abs light, air bag light, and the ets off lights are on....how do i trouble shoot this

On my z24 i have ets off and abs light on. From what i hear it could be a speed sensor thing.

it is....since you have a 95-99 you'll have ets and abs lights on .....on a 2000-2005 the trac, abs, service lights will come on

where is the speed sensor located?

sensor is located behind the wheel, behind the brakes I believe (front ones)
it should look like this (front)
