on a 1996 Z-24, it's a true "little old lady drove it" vehicle, my mother gave it to me with 69,000 miles on it.
I don't want to pay a garage or dealer to look at it, but I can't see where it's leaking from, and can't get my big head under it to se where it's leaking from.
anyone have any ideas??
Jeff
No, but replace the head gasket and water pump be cause that is way easer then "getting your big head under it to se where it's leaking from or paying a dealer or garage."
The water neck or outlet located kind of under the power steering pump is often the problem, use a flash light and check for red or white traces of coolant around it. Still you will have to stick your head under the hood.
