What makes this light turn on? i also have a "service" light with a wrench on it, but that's off. What one in the cluster would be the CEL? Does one take care of the "engine" side of things and the other the sensor side?

CEL= check engine light = yellow with engine pic, there are several reasons why it goes on
SERVICE= someguy with a wrench = take it to a repair shop???? Itīs explained in the owners manual.
CEL, there are over 2000 reasons at least that can cause the light to come on.
the service light comes on, when the CEL is , telling you to service the vehicle

I had the service light come on in my 01 Z once when one of my highbeems died.
As long as the check engine light isnt flashing then your car is ok to drive. i have a permanent check engine light and my car is still good.
