Wont start need help asap ( video inside )

I just swapped in a 995 head, HO intake mani and exaust manifold. I also put in a new started and water pump. now after puting it all back together it wont start at its making a very weird clicking noise. could someone please help?

Wow that sounds like the piston hitting the valve! Check your timing.

Defitely sounds like youre timing is out a long shot, I would get that adjusted ASAP, Heya Richard, Did you move the crank pulley & did you make sure youre timing marks were lined up when reinstalling the timing Chain. Also when you removed the cyl hd did you make sure #1 firing cyl was DTC flush with the block where cyl hd meets, piston cyl?. For the clicking also could be a valve loose or bent, Like I say I would looking it right away.

the piston was dead top center with the head. Im going to pull the timing housing today to check it. what am i looking for?

Timing sounds off, but also sounds like it does not have much juice to turn over. I'm not sure if the car (just off turning over) would keep turning over if it hit a valve. not much power going.

what do you mean? is there a valve hitting? how do i fix the timing issue. is there a how-to anywere?

Like I told you in the PM, dead battery or bad connection.

Never forget that you took out the lifters so some will tick on restart. Normal thing. Charge that battery and try it again. It will tick when you'll start it.

yeah it was a bad ground connection. i had it running from the battery tray to the same thing lol. it runs like a champ now except for a water leak which will be easy to fix. thanks for all the help
