Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me as to how to change the fog light bulbs on a cavalier z24 2001? One of them burnt out recently and I took a quick look to find out how to change them and I am slightly lost. I am not an expert so I would need some much appreciated advice please.
Also, how are the headlight bulbs changed at the same time?

first off to get to the fog lights easier way if ur want to do ur headlamps to is remove the plastic shroud a few push center clips pull them out and then remove the shroud u'll expose two silver blots on either side of the head lamp housing remove them and a phillips head so u can remove the side marker lamps also they clip together and r clipped in so after u remove the lamps and corners ull have access to ur headlamp/ corner bulbs u take off the ring around the socket and th ebulb comes right out. also if u look down into the bumper where the lampsn sat ull see the harness connected to the fogs just a quick twist and they pull out. thats a bout it prob take u 15 -20 min to pull swap and remount all four bulbs. also given the fact they are halogen bulbs a helpful tip is DON"T TOUCH THE BULB AT ALL!!!!!! ur oil on ur hands will cause them to burn out really quick so use some disposal latex gloves when going to touch the bulbs. when ur done check ur align ment of the beams and ur done. good luck just dont touch the bulbs with dirty gloves or hands they will burn out.

Thanks a lot for your descriptive answer. It really makes sense to me now and I will definetely be able to do it. I thought that I may have to remove the bumper. So it will save me a lot of time.

I tried doing this and I wasn't able to get past the two silver bolts. Once I removed the bolts, the head light seemed to still be attached somewhere. What do u mean by the "philips head", maybe that is my problem??

I just did mine on Sunday... took me 15 minutes tops. I even have the '02 Z24 lip.
here's what I did:
1. put the e-brake on
2. chock the rear wheel
3. jack the front end of the car up
4. put the car on jackstands
5. get under the front bumper. you should see where the foglights are, and the wiring going to them
6. slowly twist the connector where the wiring connects to the bulb (remember, lefty loosey, righty tighty)
7. pull the bulb away from the foglight to where you can get to it
8. disconnected the bulb from the harness by pulling up slightly on the retaining clip
9. reconnect the new bulb to the harness. push it in until it clicks
10. carefully insert the new bulb into the foglight housing. remember, the bulb socket is keyed. it might take few seconds to get the keying right so you can insert it, but you'll get there
11. slowly twist (to the right of course) the bulb socket until it stops turning
and there you have it.

The rims? They're actually knockoffs of the RacingHart C5's.... made by Exel. I got em from wheelmax, but I think they're discontinued now

I need to know how to remove the clip that holds the headlight and the corner light together. Can someone describe it or does anyone have a picture to show me??
