Ok. so i just removed my throttle body on my 96 cavalier 2.2 ohv. ever since if i start my car in the morning and i rev it it hesitates and then goes up in rpm. if i hold it at a steady rpm for about a minute, let off, and rev it again its fine. after that my car will run fine all day long. til the motor cools down again. and then it does it again untill it warms up. im not sure what it is exactly. any help is apreciated. thanks guys.

Could have an air leak where the throttle body meets the intake. (Gasket torn or split).
