Hey all. I have read alot of the no start threads, and none of them really address my issue.. So here it is. The car wil turn over.. It sputters but never starts. The car is getting fuel..(you can smell it). I have had the battery tested and it tests good. The alt is only 6 months old. Anyone have any idea on why the thing will not actually fire and run? Any other things I should check?

Oh. I forgot it has the 2.2 in it... (never had a problem when i had my 2.4..... have to wait till summer to swap that into this one.

I would first ask would you happen to have a check engine light on? If not, Next question, Possible you have a problem with youre fuel regulator the rubber diaphm could be wornout, Its dumping gas into youre motor an flooding it. In which causes the smell of gas. I would also do a psi test on youre fuel pump. Wouldnt hurt take a look at youre coil packs as well. Just get Ohm digital meter to test the current levels.
