Electrical Crazyness

So, I just wired up a tach, which I leeched onto the white wire in the bundle and about 2 weeks later I'm getting some crazy electrical problems, some are just sometimes, but others are all the time. And before you say I tapped into the wrong wire, I didnt... I hope. My ABS light is constantly on but they only semi-work if you know what I mean. My airbag light is constantly on, and I know damnwell they dont work because I took out a stopsign the other day. My DRL light will flash on and off ( I did NOT take out the fuse) and my CD player will get super loud all of a sudden, with out me turning the volume. Did the tach interrupt any signals or is my car just dying?(Guessing it's the second one) Oh, and I dont think this has anything to do with the other stuff but the damn blower on high (only speed the works) barely blows any heat at all.

I am asumming you didnt have these problem before the tach install?. I would pull the tach, patch up the wires and see if that corrects the issue, If not, You got the do alot of trouble shooting. Possibly messed up youre ECU in youre car. Doesnt youre car have any performance issue, Example: rough idle / stalling, Power dimmness?.

Good Luck.

You could try this--check this ground point is secured and clean.

Seems to be G100 in older models and G112 in newer but in about the same location

Well the ground isnt bad for the tach, if thats what you mean, but the goddamn thing only reads half the RPM's anyways, so maybe i'll just pull it, return it, and get one of the ones that hooks up to the plug wire. But in the good news section I seemed to have fixed the interior light today by replacing the fuse! but the ABS is getting alot worse, now it'll kick on and wont let me stop the car properly if you know what I mean? I should just go back to my Sierra ...

No performance issues, maybe rough idle but its always been like that, no big deal, only thing is when shifting from first to second it seems to get caught, which has nothing to do with that anyways

sounds like you fried the ECU bud...all those problems dont just happen from nowhere, and hitting a stop sign wouldnt trigger the crash sensor, as its a magnetic ball that always moves from dead stops. Check all the fuses, but im guessing the computer is toasted

I dunno after all it seems like its "healing" itself, now only the airbag light comes on. Maybe just a bad ground?
