HVAV problem....
Thursday, February 08, 2007 6:39 PM
Well I went to start my car this morning and let it warm up before I went to work. I turned on the Defrost and Rear Defrost like I normally would, and then left the car to warm up. Then I had to boost my parent's vehicle because it was dead. Anyways when I got in my car to leave to work I noticed that the air wasn't blowing on my windshield like it should have been, but it was just blowing out the leg and arm vents (not sure what they're called, lol).

But I'm just wondering what could be causing it so that the settings don't change when I want them to. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I checked the fuse and it was fine. It's stuck on one setting. Also the antifreeze was frozen when I checked so I got my uncle to put some more in, hopefully that helps somehow. any other ideas?

#3. If the thermostat has been replaced, check next to make sure your temperature control cable has not come unhooked from the back of the HVAC controls. If this happens, the air vents inside the dash will not shift properly, and one or more settings may be operating at the same time, adversly affecting vent temperature.

I think it may have something to do with the tempurature control cable. How would I be able to get this fixed if it is unhooked, also where would Iook to see if it's unhooked or not.
