Fuel Pump problems
Thursday, February 01, 2007 7:16 PM
About three weeks ago my 2000 pontiac sunfire stalled out in an intersection. It is a 2200 LN2 with the 3 speed auto transmission. I knew it wasn't due to having no fuel, because I had a quarter of a tank. I noticed I didn't hear my fuel pump while turning on the ignition. I then had my car towed back to my house, I tried to turn it on one more time and I then noticed the fuel pump turning on, but I still had no luck with the car starting. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on what to do? I was also wondering how to release the pressure on the fuel rail. When I tried to start my car it would briefly turn on, but then turn right off.
