sputters a bit at idle

i have a 99 z24 and when its at idle it sputters a bit, could this be the fuel pressure regulator or is it even a fuel problem? any ideas? thanks

Kevin, it may just be old spark plugs...

Clean the spark plug wells with an air compressor, pull a couple of plugs, take a look ...

Replacing fuel filter, cleaning injectors , replacing spark plugs or cleaning them should be made as preventive maintenance, but coil housing is the cursed part on my Z-24

thanks guys sounds like a pretty easy fix now all i have to do is get some spare time when the wind chills not 3 below. or talk my mom into letting me use her garage. thanks again.

How do you clean injectors; injector cleaner like lucas upper cylinder lubricate?

You could use Fuel Injector cleaners and pour a can on the gas tank every once in while but it is better to have a prfessional take them out an clean them with ultrasound in special machines.
