i have a 2002 2200 and my front o2 is bad. but i have a 4 wire o2. would an eco o2 work on my engine? i'm having a hell of a time finding one that will work.
Your front O2 sensor is not 4 wire. Go to GM and get one Ac/Delco.

4 wires. anyone know if an eco sensor will worn?
He's right the front o2 sensor for the '02 2.2 cavalier is indeed 4 wire, with a 4 wire square connector.
Try this GM P/N# 12568234 A.K.A AC delco P/N# 213-968
thanks for the advice. on gmpartsdirect.com it says its a Computer Control Sensor, your sure its a o2? i just want to be positive before i buy it.
It is definatley an O2 sensor, Gm lists it's parts by group numbers, the group number for O2 sensors is 3.682 and they refer to that group as Computer control sensors.
Also in that group are mass airflow sensor, map sensor, IAT sensor, speed sensors, fuel pressure sensor, etc.....
i had no idea that they did that so when i saw CCS i didnt want to end up with an IAT or somthing. thanks for your help.
What is a throttle possition sensor; what does it do?

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) determines how far open the throttle plate in the throttle body is opened.
