ecotec timing chain alignment

how can i tell if my car jumped timing? are there marks on the gear that need to be aligned like on most cars?? if so would someone happen to have a picture of how they should be? Need so help if anyone knows anything at all about this

Yes, every vehicle has timing marks.

To see this you can remove the cover, or do a compression test.

You wont have any compression if it jumped time.

Why do you suspect it jumped time. Those chains on there, with very little slack at all.

it is misfiring real bad and i changed a bunch of other stuff, i was just kinda wondering if it could be timing

No, because when it misfires it has compression, you need compression to create power, with a jumped timing chain, you wont have compression.
So no a jumped timing chain cant misfiring.
