hi, my wife just purchased a 98 cavalier 2.4 sedan, 4speed automatic. I was just wondering what kind of milage i could expect with it. So far ive only been getting 18mpg. Does this sound right?? I have a 05 ecotec 5 speed and get about 25 in the city. So just let me know what you guys are getting for mpg.
i used to get about 26-28 mpg highway in my 2002 2.4 sedan.

Autos seem to get worse gas mileage. Also what's been done to it as per maintenance? A good tune-up might need done.
