HESITATION, SHUDDERING, DYING-PLEASE HELP

Ok so I ahve been having this problem with my 02 sensor and it throwing a code 1133. So I talked to a couple of guyes on this forum and they told me to replace the 02 sensor, to make a long story short I replace the sensor and no signs of the code but no signs of the problem that it thought it was causing is still here. So here is what happens. I will start the car and some times it will just die, then I will restart it and it will most likly catch but will need some help so I tap the gas. So I start driving it and when I push the gas I get shuddering like there is no gas, so then I put it in N and just sit there for a second and it might be ok it might not. But anyways if I try to push the gas at all even the slightest bit it feels like either it is running on 2 cyclinders or it is not getting gas. Now when I drove the car for the first time in about 5 days it did this exact same thing and I though that it was probably just a little "rusty" so I just drove and no problems. No the past couple days it is getting worse to the effect that every time I try to get into traffic I have to make sure that it is not going to die and sometimes it has. So my question is what causes the car to die when first taking off. Fuel pump?

Really, would that do anything when trying to first start out. I was thinking about what it couls be.
1. FUEL PUMP- I ruled this out seeing that when I push on the clutch or put in neutral it acts fine
2. ICM- I maybe thought the ignition control module but then no becuase it acts fine when driving
3. 02 SENSOR- I just replaced this and nothing unless restarting the battery is neccessary, but I cleared the code with a scanner.

So If you think it could be the IAC than is there any way to test this first. Is there anything else it might be.

Fuel filter was replaced about 4,000 miles ago and there is a brand new aem intake on the car. Also replaced the plugs with platimum 4 about 4,000 miles ago

Is it throwing any codes? I just went through a very similiar situation...actually I am still going through it. I took off from a light and the car felt like it was only running on two cylinders. Slowed down to stop and check it out and before I could park or anything it stalled out. We pushed it to a parking spot and then tried to start it. It would start but the idle was crazy all over the place, anywhere from 500-2500 rpms. It couldn't keep running and would eventually stall out again. I rented a code scanner and came back with throttle position sensor code and a random/multiple misfire code. We replaced the tps sensor and put new spark plugs in just in case, but the car still ran like crap. Sounded like a fricken lawnmower. Anyway, we figured it was spark related because the fuel pump turns on and you can smell fuel in the engine bay when starting the car. So we figured we'd try replacing the ignition control module since it wasn't a specific cylinder that was misfiring. Put the new one in and then for some reason the car wouldn't turn over any longer. It cranks, but won't start. Put the old icm back on and same thing. At this point we were completely out of ideas, so I had the car towed to Chevy on Tuesday. Still waiting to hear back from them, but when I do I'll let you know. Maybe it will help you out.

Try taking out the IAC, just two torx screws, and cleaning it (carb cleaner and a tooth brush) see if it gets better, check the thin o ring that seals the valve seat

When I started the car up today I noticed that i could hear a small exhaust leak, but it is either the down pipe or the test pipe but that really would not do muc. It sounds like a very small leak if there is even one I wont know untill tonight. But I did start the car and disconnected IAC and the car ran the same. So I turned off the car and started it back up and it ran the same. I pushed the gas and it sounded like the exact same thing as when I try to put it in gear and try to go. So I will try a couple things and well see.

"but I cleared the code with a scanner."

If you have a problem as noted by a CEL, and you think you solved that problem the best way to see if you do would be if the CEL turns off by itself.

Ive been having a similiar problem with my cavalier. 1996 2.2 A3. When i start it up after its sat for a few minutes and is still warm is falls in its face, it hasn't died yet but sometimes it'll throw a code telling me bank one is too lean and then after two drive cycles turn itself off.

Your car is having issues when its in gear because of the load on the engine. Think of it as being out of breath and trying to pull a 400 lb rock, or being out of breath and trying to walk.

Im not too familiar with these cars...hmmm

(thinking out-loud)
When you hit the gas it shudders? Hmm... that means when you open the throttle the car cannot regulate the A to F ratio. By "stepping on the gas" the throttle lets in more air. Your car should have a few ways of letting the PCM know how much air is getting into the intake. One would be your throttle sensor, MAP sensor would be another. Another sensor is the 02, but you said you already replaced it.

I'd check for vaccum leaks as well, and see if you can get it to throw a CEL again.
