well i do have a warranty but i don't have time to take it to a dealer ship and i'm ganna be voiding the warranty anyways, so how do i get my tachometer/rpm guage to work correctly???? sometimes it spins completly around sometimes it says 8grand when i'm idling lol, thank GOD i know when to shift but would really like my tach to work, i've tried unplugging the battery and different things nothing seems to work any insight would really help thanks

2) that sounds tome like the cluster is faulty, get a new one (ebay has tons, i was just there)

buy a new cluster... if that doesnt work then you probably have a electrical problem somewhere... so if you messed with your electrical system somewhere on your car you should re check it before buying the cluster

if you have a warranty take it to the dealer and let them replace it. i changed the gauge overlay in my 03 and dropped the clusted by accident once. the rpm needle was like 2 grand off after that. i eventually got it back, but id say if you have the warranty take it in.

Prolly just a bad ground, let the warranty solve it and make time for the dealer, it is your best bet.
