I am not sure if this goes in here, but here it goes.

I jacked up my car to put in the front sway bar and engine mounts. Go to take the front left wheel off and it freely turns. So I go put the car in gear, and the wheel still freely moves both directions! Correct me if I am wrong but if the car is in gear it shouldn't be able to rotate the wheels. I am lost as to what to do. Please help!

Did the stick 'throw' go all the way? Sometimes when stationary, the tranny won't easily slip into gear. Work it around in the other gears a few seconds and it should slide home OK.

I tried jiggling it around and tried 3rd as well. No luck. Its cold out so i just gave up for today.
