Hello

Can anyone tell me what years of Cavalier had a Throttle Body Fuel Injection system? I have 3 TBI units. One has a much larger bore. I got them from older Cavaliers, I think the 80's but I neglected to write down the VIN numbers of each car when I took them off. I have finished a Megasquirt computer and am looking to adapte a TBI in place of a Carb.

Gm used the tbi inject starting in 1983 -1986.The engines used with tbi were the 1.8 and 2.0 liter.The model numbers used were the 300,500, and 700. Each unit used a single injector and I am not sure which model was used on specific yr models,I can tell u that my vin is a P with the 2.0 1985 yr model used the model #500 tbi unit.There were variations between the three models mostly by design and have a chiltons book with the 500 pic and the 700 broke down to the letter.The 300 prolly was used on early 83 yr models cars and switched to the 500 model somewhere mid yr.If u post a pic I will c what model unit u have if it helps u.
