I was driving to my Uncle's and as i was getting off the exit to fuel up, my car just cut out. There was no gas. It turns over and then just cuts out. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? Fuel pump? Fuel Fitler? Fuel Injectors? I'm thinking maybe it has to do something with the fuel line, since it starts and then cuts out. Thanks for your help in advance.

Sputter and die? Insta-die? Doesn't actually start, just turns over? Lights on the dash?

The gas just cut off. Then when i turn the key, it starts, but a second after it turns on, it just shuts off again.

When you first turn the key to on, do you hear the fuel pump under the rear seat priming? It should make a good humming/buzzing sound for three seconds then shut off. If you don't hear that noise, you've either got a dead fuel pump or a blown fuel pump fuse or relay.

If you're like me and tend to run the car all the way to empty before filling it up.... that's a guaranteed way to kill the fuel pump... as the extra fuel in the tank helps cool the pump off. I've killed two or three now...

im pretty sure its a dea fuel pump....9 out 10 times this symptons happends it due to that

Thanks for your imput! After all was said and done, i was out of gas, lol! I changed the fuel filter and cranked the car with the line open, no gas spurt out. So, i, too, figured it was the pump. But lo and behold, my freaking gas needle stuck and my dumbass wasn't monitoring it. It stuck between a quarter tank and an eight tank. Man, i feel dumb. Especially after checking out the filter and troubleshooting! Bah! Yeah, John, i think i'm filling my tank at the half way mark from now on, lol!

That was a problem in 2000 and 2001 IIRC. I think it was a recall, anyone else remember?
