I have a problem with my HVAC system, the only air (cold/hot) that comes out is thru the front dash vents, no matter where i turn the dial, the air still comes thru the dash vents, and with winter here, I need a defroster. Any help?
Try adjusting the dial for vents first before turning the fan on full blast. I have found that sometimes my car acts the same way and that's what I do to resolve the problem. Maybe someone else will have some additional info as well for you.
Can you hear the vacuum changing when you turn the dial? May be a disconnected vacuum line.
