need fuel system part number

hello all,

Was hoping you could help me out. I'm looking for the part number of the fuel filler neck. Connects the pass-side rear quarter pannel to the rubber hose leading into the fuel tank. This is for a 1995 cavalier 2-door with the 2.2L engine. The old one is rusted and leaking gas over time.

I've contacted two stealerships near me, and they have had no luck even identifying the part.

Also, if any have replaced this before, or can reference manuals, are there any gaskets/extra items needed to replace this part?

Thank you very much in advance!

-Josh

I replaced the one on my daughters 97. Very easy - no seals required. 2 (or 3) screws at the quater panel. 1 support bolt on the frame half way down the pipe. 2 hose clamps at the rubber hose connection. If I recall the dealer charged about $60 (CDN) for the part. FYI, my dealer had no problem finding the P/N and had the pipe in stock.

Thank you Mike, apreciate your help. From the outside it looked to be pretty easy, just want to run the fuel level down a little lower so I don't take a gasoline shower

For anyone who has trouble finding this in the future, part number is: 22581808. I was able to find it on the gmpartsdirect site, with that info, I finally found a dealer who can have one in a few days, listed at $41 and some change, gmpartsdirect lists at $35.36.

Again, I do appreciate everyone's help and the information exchanged. What a great forum!
