rodent problem

so i fired up the cavfire today (after it sat for 6 months) and ran it around the block a few times. after the corrosion on the brakes wore off it was all good. then i turn on the blower and i hear some noise coming from the blower. i got it home took out the blower and pulled a mouse nest out along with a dead mouse. i put it back in and it blows good, but it blows everywhere. whether i have it on the foot only, defrost only, whatever setting it blows out of all vents. so im guessing the mice have another nest in the air director box thing? where is that? or what does my problem soundlike it is coming from. thanks.

That airbox is in the center of the dash. If you take the upper dash off you may be able to reach in and get everything. How did they get IN your car in the first place? The air inlet for that comes from where the windshield wipers are (that black cover) and has screens over it so they can't get in.

You would be surprised how a mouse could get into your car lol. im sure there are thousands more ways than you think.

Sounds like chewed up vacuum lines. I had a mouse inside my Porsche. It was ripping stuffing from underneath the seats and making a nest behind the fuse panel and inside the intake. I laid a few traps without bait and caught it. Don't bait the traps, you don't want to attract any more rodents, just to get rid of the ones you've got. Also think about using carpet cleaner and vacuuming your car. I suspect your rodents weren't housebroken.

I had a problem with mice going under my hood and pulling insulation from the hood and making nest in the corners.I simply bought some mice bait placed it under my hood and about three days later dead mouse found in my yard.I keep my car covered in my driveway and check it about once a wk.The mouse bait is very effective and walmart sells it in the household cleaning section.I NO longer have this problem.Btw I live in the county area,so I keep those bait blocks around the area to keep them out of my cars hood area.It works at least for the last 6months.
