I changed my starter interlock (clutch safety) switch. Taking the old one out was pretty easy but I can't get the new one back in the bracket. I even stoped by the dealership figuring they may have done it before and they could not get it. I can start the car no problem pushing the switch in manually but it's getting annoying. Anyone have some tips on how to get it back into place? Car is a 96 SF 2.2 manual.
The worst part is I didn't need to change it turned out it was the starter solenoid.

uhh... just jumper the two wires and eliminate the switch. and then make sure never to start the car while its in gear without pushing the clutch in, you'll be driving your car with the starter.
