I have a 1990 z24 and I'm getting oil up thru the throttle body and back into the air filter... anyone ever have this problem or know wut could cause this? thanks
Two things piston rings or the PCV system is working incorrectly.
If you had a compression tester you could test the piston rings.

well there is a good bit in there... almost coverering the whole bottom of the filter.... i have a short ram intake and a k&n filter with a breather........
Well my 85 cav with a 2.0 does the same thing just have to keep the pvc stuff clean or replaced to control the issue. The car is a ok and nothing is out of sorts or worn out even with 205,000 miles.I just change the breather alot to help control film u described mine does the same to the letter.
check the "distributor" seal...its actually the oil pump drive but its where the distributor would be if you had one odds are that has kicked the bucket, about 75 cents for that, about $5 for a throttle body gasket, $2 for throttle body cleaner,a nd 20 minites with the right tools and you will fix your leak
