I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the cruise control cable breaking on their ecos. I have had mine replaced twice and it broke again. How hard would it be to replace this by myself??
I use cruise all the time on my 04 and it has never broke.
Where did the cable snap at?

u can'y really see where it snapped but u can feel play within the cable. I am pretty sure it snapped in the top half but if u don't disconnect it , it can lead to the throttle sticking open and that is not a good thing
Mine doesnt stay cliped or connected to the TB, so mines taped and it works, not that i am a big cruse control user but its nice to have once and a while, i got pics if anyone is intrested in seeing what i am talking about....
