Ok so my '04 cav has started to make a really high pitched squeaking/light griding noise when I go around a turn (mostly right turns). I wouldn't think it would be the brakes already, but idk what else it would be really. It gets pretty loud/annoying the faster I take a corner, especially with the windows down. Like i said it is mostly from the right side of the car, but tonight i started noticing it from the left too, and it is coming from the back i am pretty sure. I am taking it to the dealer sometime this week, so i was just wanting opinions on what you guys think it is before i take it in.
My guess would be the front brake pads, Only way you can tell is when you take off the front tires, To inspect to find results.
Good Luck.
Check the brakes but check the hubs out. If there isany play in the hub the bearings are more than likely going out. Could also be something in the rear drum brakes. sometimes stuff comes apart in them and causes that. It can be a number of things. Before you take it to a dealer checkit out yourself. These cars arent to hard to work on as far as the brakes and wheel/hub bearings go.
Yeah, except I would rather not do it myself just cause, and its still under full warranty so why would I even mess with it.
