How is the delay wipers on a 2003 Sunfire setup? Is there a module that controls them or is it all in the wiper switch?
The 2003 sunfire in question does not have delay at all and i wanted to know how i can go about installing them.
your thoughts?

I am no a 100% sure the delay could be in the wiper motor its self, The dealer could be able to give you that info.
The delay part is integral to the switch. You can change the base switch for a delay switch, no problem. Same connector. It's two 7mm bolts that hold it in, but I can't recall if you have to take off the other switch (headlight/signal arm) first... I'll have to look at mine. Or just pop off the top cover (pull straight up) off the column and take a look. A bolt on top of each switch, and one in front of each switch... you can take the steering wheel off, or get creative with a 7mm wrench.
The wiper motors are all the same now... the only difference was the 95-97 or so models, which had a park feature... which didn't work very well anyhow... you don't want it
Yeah the switch has the delay part, it's really just a variable resistor that tells the motor how long to delay. The motor is all the same.
I like the park feature too, looks fancy, and mine all still work just fine.
What does that switch cost? anyone have a part number or a price ?

what is the park feature?
and the switch costs me 20 bucks for a salvaged one not sure new though, carful when you replace it though my horn switch made a ground and started going off

There's two black plastic nubs on the cowl plastic... the 95 and 96 (and maybe 97 too? not sure) wiper motors had a "park" feature where they would retract and "park" on those plastic nubs. Below the line of sight, out of the way...
The early motors had a problem of crapping out, and dying half way up the glass... stuck there. GM will replace it with a newer style motor, without the park feature.
If I needed to replace my wiper motor... I'd just go to the wreckers and grab the newest motor I could find... there's a car here with 2976 kms on it, 2005 model. That one should last a while
