So this is the secound time in under two weeks a coil pack has gone on my car? i cant figure out wth is happening and why. after my engine blew i rebuilt the head everything seemed fine, i also replaced the coil pack. this will be the third coil pack(new) that ive had to purchase. its almost to the point i will put a new one then trade it in fast, unless i can figure out wth is causing this issue so far nowon ive taken my car to can figure it out.(note: i cant even start my car and a tow from where i live costs over 200 bucks)

I know of a Buick Regal that blew a coil pack, it was cause by the Ignition Module, I suspect this is what's happening with yours.

They changed the Coil pack first and when that failed again put in another coil pack with a new Ignition Module. This permanently fixed the problem.

The first (changed) coil pack was replaced under warranty--I never did find out why (Or how)

How old are the plug wires? Mine unknowinlg 'went south' -- resistance WAY up -- and fried both packs. Engine ran like sh!t.

my cars off warrenty, and its orig spark plug wires, but they are upgraded spark plugs,wonder how expensive would it be to get an new ignition module and spark plugs wires
