Hello
I am trying to aim my headlights on a 02 cav LS

I can get the lights even on dim, but on bright, the driver side is good, just over the hood, but the passenger side fires almost to the ground.

please help

I just did this the other day actually its really easy well this is what i did anyways seems to work fine
First take and measure the distance from each headlight to the middle of the car and write that down.
2nd park your car 25ft away with the headlights facing the wall.
3. Take a string or something and line up the middle of your car with the wall mark it with tape or something you need to make sure the height of the mark u make on the wall = the heighth of your car doesnt have to be exact but the closer the better.
4. Meausure from that line to the left and right the distance you had measured earlier of how far the headlights were from the middle of the car.. For example if your car is 6ft wide and the lights are 3ft away from the middle of the car you would take and measure 3ft on either side of the mark on the wall
5. Turn you lights on the high beams should hit the marks on the wall from previous step perfectly if not get a screw driver and on the head lights turn the adjusting screws they are long and gray ...well on mine therir gray just adjust them until it lines up perfectly then your done hope this helps

How about low beams? If I get the high beams adjusted will the low beams be ok?

they should be about right no more than 2 inches off from where the marks are at for the high beams...if they are its better to get them within 2inches of the marks and the highbeams off a little since the low beams are used more often so when the low beams are on if its more than 2 inches off adjust them to be correct hope this helps
