well i just got my car all fixed up, but now i have run into another problem

I was getting a CEL so i though id get it scanned real quick

it said the rpms at idle were higher than expected

i just replaced my MAP sensor

does anyone know why this would be happening, and when i do get down to idle it kinda bounces

and at times it feels almost like cruise control is on at very low RPMs

any help would be greatly appreciated

What exactly was the work, other than the MAP sensor, that you did to the car? It sounds as if you could have a vacuum leak. I would just check all the hoses on the manifold, tb and the brake booster. Good luck.

Oh, and I was wondering if you had considered going with the Green Tops rather than the Brown? I'll email you later with the prices I've found on both!

i agree, it does sound like a vac leak, but i cant find one, ill check more tomorrow, and you know im down with either injectors

I just had a similar problem with my 02 Z24. Try the simple first: disconnect the battery for like 1/2 and hour and then reconnect it. Start it up and see if it works. I thought it was far too simple a fix until I tried it and it worked. Just rule out the simple stuff before you start making it more complicated than it has to be. I was more wrapped up in what caused it than trying to fix it. Worry about fixing it first.
