yeah motor, and they're kind of a pain in the ass.........not sure about your car but i had to drill out the few ...like 7 or 8 rivets i think around the assembly. try to remember how the pieces all fit together and having a friend to hold the window at times may help as well. make sure to have some new rivets if you can find that size. i just used nuts/bolts short rnough to miss the window to reinstall....this part sucks too cuz there's just about no room to reach behind to hold a wrench if you had too. and maybe lube the tracksand moving parts..........have fun

haha, lets see here. i replaced my drivers front 4 times (twice by me and twice by dealership). i replaced my passanger front three times (once by me, twice by dealer). the rear pass was replaced once by dealer. the rear drivers was replaced once by me and twice by dealer.

i can understand the drivers front. and MAYBE even the passanger front. but whats weird is if i had one window down, they were all down. so why'd the all die at different times and at different rates? i don't get it. once you do it the first time, its easy. don't use rivets to put the new one back in, get some nuts and bolts so its easier. also lube the @!#$ out of the gears and the racks.

they are just crap motors. a lot of people have had problems with the motors here on the chatboard. its not uncommon. some people just got lucky.
