this is pretty annoying... ive been having very few intermitent problems when i wouldnt push the clutch all the way to the mat... but now it wont turn over at all.
i replaced the clutch pedal switch, and the full starter assembly and it still isnt attempting to turn over.
the 50amp ignition fuse is good, the starting ignition column is good, i checked the clutch pressure switch harness with a multimeter, and its getting 12v when the key is in start. according to the schematic from autozone the current comes from the fuse to the ignition column to the clutch pressure sensor directly to the starter.
there appeared to be a constant 12v to the starter... but i can be mistaken (i had a friend take that reading)... ill check again tonight...
my questions are what is the other clutch switch sensor hooked up to the clutch pedal it is white in color and opposite to the clutch pressure switch? what is the third wire hooked to the starter solenoid come from? and what signal does it send?
this is for a 96 2.4l

Have you tried to jump the starter? Make sure the starter is working.
