Car wont start

Hey guys im outta ideas. ok to start off i noticed a couple weeks ago that sometimes when i would turn my key to the on position, the fuel pump wouldnt turn on , so id turn the key off the to on again and it would work adn start. well bout a week ago i pull into the house and turn the car off and get out. well as im walkin away im like damn somones car sounds like mine. IT WAS MINE! and i had the keys in my hand. so i put the key back in and turn it on then off again and the car turns off. well then the problem wit the fuel pump turning on wit the key in the on position becomes more frequent. in an attempt to get the pump to kick on one day i turn the key to the accessories slot and the pump kicks on? I never checked b 4 but i dont think its suppost to do this. well now its not kickin on at all. the car will turn over everytime its cranked but wont catch cause well no fuel lol Could this be the anti theft? i had ordered a key lock cylinder and all that but after two times of getting the wrong part i am informed that the wires commin outta the key lock make it a part that only the dealer sales. I read threw the posts on the sight nadi came up wit a round about price of $250ish. i dont wanna pay this much for a part that isnt right, cuz im pretty sure they wont take it back after its been installed right? I checked fuses, and relays to the feul pump thinkin that may be it but am i wrong in assuming that if the pump goes out it completely goes out? i mean if it were the pump, why would me playing wit the keyswitch cause it ro run b 4? oh and theres no CEL but the Anti-theft light is on wit the key in the on position. Seems liek it always was on b 4 till the car was actually started then it would go off cuz i never had any lights liek that on b 4 i parked the car the last day. common guys holla back at me.

The passlock system in the J body doesnt control the fuel pump it controls the injector pulses. If the fuel pump doesnt run for two seconds when you turn the key on youve got a problem with the pump, its power or ground feed, possibly the pcm or the ignition switch itself, since you talked about engine run on with key out, and pump running in the accessory position its pretty likely youve got either an ignition switch or pcm problem(or both) Id go with the ignition switch they are prone to failure malfunction.

As far as the Security staying on its highly likely youve got a passlock issue, if you could retrieve dtc's I could help further.

aight man thanks , i took out the pump and wired it straight to the batter y and it works great . ok now i noticed the accessories arent even turning on wit the key in the accesories position, after i put the pump and tank back in. i ran a wire straight from the battery and put it on a toggle , and wit the toggle on the pump works. the car cranks but its not catching what gives? i really hate to throw alot of money into this thing again. where is the ignition switch? and bout how much would it run?
