The HVAC unit on my mom's 99 Cav has a short in it.. meaning she has to play with it to get the AC to work. Getting the part isn't a problem, nor is installing it (I can do that).. what I was wondering was.. could I use an HVAC from a newer Cav (say 02/03)? She likes the design better (the fact that it turns on with the fan speed dial and not the other one.. plus it feels more solid). I'd just like to know before I just assume they're all plug and play and buy one that won't work.
