Clutch Adjustment
Tuesday, October 17, 2006 4:17 PM
My clutch is coming out of adjustment, it doesnt start to grab till my clutch pedal is almost all the way let out. HOW do i adjust it? Theres two wires running into the tranny in the front and one has an adjusment nut on it. Is that the one? cuz im not sure, it would make sense but i dont want to find out the hard way by turning it and having bad things happen. I looked at my Haynes manual but it really doesnt explain adjustng the clutch just rebuilding the tranny. Any help is much appreciated.

Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir. It may be low.

alright ill try that. What kind of brake fluid should i use? And if this doesnt help does that mean my clutch is going bad? i know my input gear bearing is going cuase it rattles in neutral so if i have to replace the clutch ill guess il just replace that while am at it. Thanks for the help
