Standing water= screwed up horn??

Hey fellaz:

Had to drive through standing water on my way home from work tonight. Upon arming my factory alarm, I noticed the horn now sounds like a "micro-machine" version of a japanese horn...very muffled sounding and high pitched...think it will "dry out" overnight and be aight? Anyone have this experience after driving through water? Thanks in advance guys.

Dry out? Yep. Work? Yep..for a short while. Gonna rust out on ya. Get a replacement now & maybe move da horn position.

It will dry out, it may or may not rust out on you. Just wait a while and see.
