Hello, all,
I have a 2003 Cavalier with 24000 miles that is making for want of a better word a "groaning" sound in the suspension when resting on a down slope. It happens when I release the brakes a bit and then re-apply them. Also shows up when in gear (auto) and hand brake applied.
It sounds like the sound that a dry rubber attach mount would make. Engine and rear suspension mounted in rubber?
Has anyone had a similar problem or is this normal?
Thanks for any input!

Sounds like the brakes need to be cleaned if you don't want the sound. I think what you are describing is normal. It's hard to tell by the description.
