starter warning sign, or need more juice?

first let me say the car starts every time.

When i turn the key you hear the starter engage for a 2 count then it fires up. its like a "chug chug start" thing, and its consistently like this. my battery has been relocateds to the back. one theory i got was that since its there I may need more cranking amps. I believe its 2 gauge wire going up to the front, the battery have been in the back for quite awhile now, with no other issues.

Should i just let sleeping dogs lay ? or should I start looking for something more serious, this is my DD so it has to be good.

Start by making sure your current battery is in good shape...fully charged, clean connections, etc..

You may also want to do some voltage testing...without the car running...once after fully charged, then again after a couple days use, then after a week, etc., make sure it's holding a good charge and maintaining it.

Personally, for longer battery cable runs, like for trunk relocations, I prefer 0-gauge cabling. Also make sure you are using the shortest amount of cable needed.

the battery tested good at 2 places, with avg volts at 12.4- 12.85 thats pretty normal, and I just realized i made an error above its "00" or double zero gauge wire, the grounds up top are good. I'm going to double check all of tee MSD wires and tee wire at tee starter after work.
