Removing B-Pillar?
Friday, September 29, 2006 11:16 AM
My B-Pillar black plastic cover is loose and making alot of wind noise. I want to pull it off and replace it, but am unsure of how to get it off without damaging any part of the door or window.
Does anyone have experience in removing this trim piece (vertical black piece of plastic at the trailing end of your windows on your doors)?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Start by rolling down the window.

Then, pull the rubber window channel out from behind the b pillar aplique.

There are three screws there that fasten the panel down. Remove those.

Now, pull away from the vehicle and towards the rear of the vehicle to remove the panel.

You have to remove the rear seal back and bottom. Also have to remove the bolt at the front seat belt pivot point and anchor at the floor. Panel shoule just pull out then. Clips hold it to the side of the car.
